We understand that AI music applications involve your creative inspiration and potentially sensitive voice data, which is why we make privacy protection a core principle of our product design.

- Your complete control over your own creative data

2. Information We Collect
We only collect the minimum information necessary to provide and improve our AI music services.
2.1 Information You Actively Provide
Music Creation Related Information
- Text Inputs: Lyrics, style descriptions (e.g., "Sad piano ballad," "Upbeat 80s pop"), and prompt engineering text used for AI generation.
- Audio Uploads (for Custom AI Voices & Covers): When you use our AI Cover feature, you may upload audio files (such as vocal samples) to train a custom AI voice. These files are used to create a personalized voice model specific to your account.
- Creation Preferences: Preferred genres, tempo (BPM) settings, and instrumental choices.
Payment Information
- We do not receive your full payment card details directly. Payment processing is handled by Apple Store
We may receive limited payment‑related information from these platforms, such as:
- Subscription plan type
- Subscription status (active, expired, canceled)
- Basic transaction identifiers necessary to manage your subscription
We do not store full credit card numbers or bank account details on our own servers.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
Account Information
- Anonymous Device ID: Automatically generated to identify your account and restore your subscription.
Device Information
- Device model, operating system version.
- Unique device identifier (to prevent abuse and manage subscription limits).
- Audio output settings (to optimize sound quality).
Usage Data
- Feature usage (e.g."Mix It").
- App crash logs and performance data.
2.3 Information We Do Not Collect
- Geographic location information: We do not track where you are creating music.
- Contacts, text messages, call logs: We never access your address book or private communications.
- Audio files from your device: We do not scan your local music library unless you explicitly select a file to upload.
3. How We Use Information
3.1 AI Music & Cover Generation
When you use Vocas to generate music or AI Covers, we process your inputs as follows:
Audio Processing Workflow:
- Text-to-Music: Your input (lyrics/prompts/style) is used only for AI model analysis of musical structure, rhythm, and timbre.
- Custom Voice Processing and Storage: If you upload an audio file to create a custom AI voice, our servers will process this audio to extract vocal characteristics and generate a personalized voice model. This custom voice model is securely stored and associated exclusively with your account so you can reuse it for future AI Covers. It is strictly isolated and NOT accessible to or shared with any other users.
- Data Isolation Commitment: Your private projects and uploaded audio files are completely isolated. AI processing occurs in a secure environment. Our employees cannot listen to your private generations or uploads unless you actively submit a customer service request regarding a specific track.
3.2 Service Improvement
- Anonymized usage statistics (such as "most popular genres") are used to improve features.
- Improve model performance and user experience
- Crash logs are used to fix audio rendering glitches.
- A/B testing to optimize the user interface.
3.3 Notifications and Communication
We may send you:
- Operational Notifications:
- “Creation complete” notifications
- Important information about core app functionality
- Service Updates:
- Major feature changes
- Changes to this Privacy Policy or Terms of Use
You can manage push notification preferences at any time:

4. Special Notes on AI Models and Data Usage
4.1 AI Training Data
We Promise:
- Our base AI models are trained using licensed music datasets and public domain works.
- Your Private Uploads & Voice Data: The audio samples you upload and the custom voice models you create are used SOLELY for providing the service to you. We strictly DO NOT use your uploaded audio, voiceprints, or custom voice models to train, improve, or fine-tune our general foundation models or public AI models.
- If we need to use user data to optimize models in the future, we will seek explicit consent separately.
4.2 Rights to Generate Content
- You retain ownership rights to your specific inputs (lyrics you wrote).
- You have usage rights to the AI-generated music tracks according to your subscription tier, and can freely download and share them.
- We will not use your private tracks for marketing displays unless we obtain your written authorization.
5. Information Sharing and Disclosure
5.1 We Will Not Sell Your Data
We will never sell your personal information, lyrics, or voice samples to third parties.
5.2 Necessary Service Providers
To operate and improve Vocas, we may share minimal necessary information with the following types of service providers:
Cloud Storage Service Providers: Secure storage of your song library and your private custom voice models.
- Shared content: Encrypted audio files and project metadata.
- Purpose: Secure storage of your song library.
- Protection measures: Encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest. We use reputable infrastructure providers with strong security controls (for example, SOC 2–certified providers where applicable).
AI Compute Providers
- Shared content: All data processed by our compute providers is handled under strict confidentiality agreements and is not retained by them for their own use.
- Purpose: Run high-performance GPU models to generate music.
- Protection measures: Encrypted data transmission (TLS). Temporary processing data is retained only as long as needed to generate your output and then deleted or de‑identified within a reasonable timeframe.
6. Data Storage and Security
6.1 Storage Duration
Active Accounts:
- Songs and lyrics: Retained as long as your account exists.
- You can delete individual tracks in the app at any time.
Deleted Data:
- After account deletion, personal data is removed from active systems within 30 days.
- Data in backup systems will be completely cleared within 90 days.
7. Your Rights and Control
We provide you with complete control over your creative data:
7.1 Right to Access
- View all generated tracks and history in your "Library."
- View subscription details in "Settings."
7.2 Right to Delete
- Delete specific songs or projects directly in the App.
- These items are removed from our active servers immediately and from backups within 90 days.
- Delete the application to remove all local cache.
7.3 Right to Withdraw Consent
- You can withdraw previously granted permissions at any time in settings (such as microphone access).
8. Children's Privacy Protection
Vocas is intended for users aged 13 and above (due to potentially explicit user‑generated lyrics). We use anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers and do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data without parental consent, please contact us at support@vocas.ai, and we will take steps to delete such information.
9. Privacy Policy Updates
9.1 Update Notifications
For significant changes (for example, if we change how we use your data for AI training), we will:
- Notify you at least 30 days in advance, where possible
- Provide an in‑app notification or pop‑up describing the key changes
- Give you a choice to accept the updated policy or stop using the App and delete your account
9.2 Minor Updates
We may make minor updates (such as improving wording or clarifying terms) from time to time. When we do:
- We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy.
- Continued use of the App after such updates means you accept the revised Policy.
We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
10. Special Commitments
As an AI music application, we recognize that your voice, lyrics, and creative ideas are deeply personal. We therefore make the following commitments:
- Your creativity is private:
Your private tracks and projects are visible only to you and are not shown to other users unless you explicitly publish them (if/when a publishing feature is available).
- AI will not “steal” your voice:
Any custom voice model you create is your private asset within the App. We do not share your custom voices with others, nor do we use your voice data to train our public models.
- Employees cannot casually access your drafts:
Our staff cannot access or listen to your private content unless you explicitly provide a track to customer support for troubleshooting.
- Deletion means real deletion:
When you delete content or your account, we remove it from active systems and clear it from backups within the stated time frames. We do not keep hidden backups beyond these periods.
We strictly control microphone access and never record in the background.
Our goal is to be your trusted studio assistant, not a data collector.
